The Knitting Maevan

The move is starting tomorrow morning bright and early. I can't believe the week is already over. So much for a spring 'break'. I have soooo much school work to catch up on, not to mention a new apartment to move into :P Boo. Oh well, I'm excited :) Lis and I get to have our new and fabulous place. It's going to be a fresh start me thinks. We both want to start taking better care of ourselves.

Meanwhile, I'm anxiously awaiting my order from Elann. Should arrive within the next week. I really want to get started on my Lucky sweater. I guess I'll have to work on the scarf in the meantime.

A friend of ours gave both Lis and I Michael's gift certificates :) I think I'm going to pick up some Paton's Classic Wool in Petal Pink for my French Market bag.

Also, I've decided to sell off a few of my collectables once I get settled in the new place. I'm a packrat with waaaay too much stuff that I don't actually use. For instance, my sword/knife collection. Yep. This little quiet knitter also collects sharp pointy things. Unfortunately, I don't have the cash or the source to really invest in quality pieces, so I want to sell off what I have. Also, I collect antique books. I have a bunch that I've never read and/or don't really enjoy/need. I am also going to be going to CD exchange with a few of my CDs and DVDs. Too much clutter. I want some fresh air, you know? Anyway, this decluttering should result in a bit of extra cash, which would be nice :) Maybe I can then afford to buy some yarn for Kyoto (the sweater ^_-)

Well folks, unless I update again tonight, I'm going to loose access to the internet bright and early tomorrow morning and wont be back until sometime Sunday. I doubt I'll be posting before next week, though I will be checking blogs and my email obsessively as always. Take care and have a good weekend.
