The Knitting Maevan

Ah, the weekend. I wish these things lasted longer. I can already feel myself in desperate need for a vacation. Boo. I am definately not a winter person.

In exciting knitting news, I have my first FO of 2005. Introducing, Tracy's Mary-Jane Mohair Slippers!

I have a bunch more pictures of them on the FOS page, if you're interested, as well as the pattern. They didn't turn out as... finished as I was hoping, but oh well. I'm just glad to have them done. The damn fuzzy soft things took forever to make.

In other news, I recieved my Lamb's Pride E-Bay purchase! Here's the yarn I'm going to use for my Meema Bag. The green is going to be the main colour. I thinking about adding another colour, but we'll see.


Meanwhile, I have to make another hat for Pat, as his Hot Head beanie is too short for his liking. He wants something to cover his ears, more like a toque. Any suggestions? I'm thinking one of the ear flap hats from Last Minute Knitted Gifts.

I'm really excited about the SP4 :) I haven't recieved my pal's name yet, but I'm really looking forward to getting to know someone new and recieving mail :)
