The Knitting Maevan: A page of craftiness

The Knitting Maevan

Saturday, November 06, 2004

I am going through a knitting slump. There are so many lovely yarns out there I want to try, to touch and to play with. So many fancy patterns I want to attempt and maybe even successfully make. Dilemma? Lack of funds and time. I have sworn to make do with what I have, so as to avoid the knitter's stash overload, but I can't help but yearn for pretty things I can't have.

Current yearnings:
-Silk Garden anything.
-Bright, rich and vibrant Alpaca
-Soft Kid
-Almost anything from Rowan (yarns), more specifically the Rowan Vintage book

What I want to make:
-Kyoto
-Mittens
-More scarfs!
-Rogue Sweater

Also, I wish I had a more stable and...well...larger income so that I could participate in Secret Friends. I love the entire concept, but I just don't have the 50$USD to spend on my friend (three times a year is it?). Sigh.

Another time I suppose.
